This feature is critical because it lets me know how certain the model is about its predictions, and I can manually correct results if needed. Even options that seemed they miss something, worked perfectly. The trick is in simplicity and effectiveness. Big thumbs up. Show moreShow less DigiParser has simplified what used to be a fairly manual invoice-processing workflow for me. I can set up email rules to automatically forward incoming invoices to DigiParser, have the relevant information extracted, and send the results directly to a Google Sheet. What I particularly like is the balance between structured parsing and AI flexibility. It has the consistency and reliability I want from a purpose-built parser, without the hassle of sending this information into a generic AI which isn't as focused, and can have "interesting" consistency on these kinds of tasks. Each target extraction field can include special AI instructions that help refine and clarify how information should be identified or interpreted. I've used those instructions to validate tracking numbers, resolve ambiguous invoice information, and accommodate differences between vendors. That flexibility has even allowed me to use a single parser across multiple vendors rather than maintaining a separate workflow for each one. I'm now expanding the workflow beyond Google Sheets by using API integrations to send invoice information to other services, including my accounting workflow and Shopify. One of my goals is to automatically associate shipment tracking and vendor invoice information with the appropriate Shopify orders and fulfillments. So far, DigiParser has given me a lot of flexibility and has replaced several manual steps in my previous process. Those manual steps were often the points where work would pile up when I got busy. Automating the intake, extraction, validation, and downstream distribution of the data makes the overall process much more dependable. For anyone processing a meaningful volume of invoices--especially invoices from multiple vendors with slightly different formats--DigiParser is worth considering. I immediately plugged this into my professional services business. My next step is to test this on a flow where i drop files into a GDrive folder and they get routed for parsing. What I would like to see is transparency on which models (LLM or ML) are used and the ability to maybe choose between some. Now, on to my review: one of my clients, along with myself, deals with many documents, particularly those related to bank transactions that need to be fed into QuickBooks (both desktop and online). Like many small businesses in the USA and Canada, we rely on QuickBooks to manage our accounting. However, dealing with statements, ledgers, bills, invoices, etc., can be painful. Manual input is the only option, right? While we were able to upload CSV files, it was also cumbersome because unique adjustments were required each time to process them. Fortunately, thanks to DigiParser, that difficult process has disappeared. DigiParser is truly one of the few platforms that offers the service of receiving any kind of format and converting it to generate a QBO file. For those who may not be aware, QuickBooks supports a QBO file format that makes importing simple--it's just a matter of two clicks. Yesterday, we successfully imported several months' worth of data from different bank accounts (which means different PDF formats--another headache) in just a few minutes. My team was amazed at how well DigiParser works. You create the client, organize the documents into subfolders for those of us who need everything well sorted, and then you start uploading the documents one by one. Watching how DigiParser operates (the user experience is great, clean, and easy to follow) is astounding. It accurately reads the PDF, understands what is a debit and what is a credit, and generates the correct columns needed for importing into QuickBooks. It truly works. I am now moving up to tier 6, which allows for almost unlimited use. I genuinely hope that this service remains well set up and continues with us in the long run. Once again, I appreciate Pankaj for the quick support that expedited the entire process and helped us understand how to navigate it. Show moreShow less Use case --------------- My first use case for DigiParser is extracting data from purchase invoices. This involves extracting both the main invoice data and detailed line items. Invoices placed in a Dropbox folder are automatically imported into DigiParser, and the extracted data is exported by email in JSON format as an attachment. Platform experience --------------------------------- Straightforward, with a comprehensive range of options for importing and exporting files. Setting up the parser started with selecting a ready-made template. From there, the process continues by refining and adding fields as invoices from different suppliers are processed. There is a bit of a learning curve, or trial and error, with the AI instructions, but the process itself is straightforward. Putting the extra effort into refining the data extraction and getting it right--or as close as possible--at the start will hopefully pay off in the long run. Would I expect every exported dataset to be 100% perfect? No. But so far, I'm surprised at how good it is. I haven't tested all the available options, as I'm currently focused on my primary use case, but I have to admit it is tempting to try them all! That's one of the good things about DigiParser: there are plenty of options available when you need them, without having to excessively configure things you don't. Support experience ------------------------------- I sent an email to support with two issues, and the response was prompt and efficient. 1) Email: Changing recipients did not take effect. This was resolved, with further changes tested successfully. 2) Dropbox import: Importing files could sometimes be slow. This was addressed, with a significant improvement in timing and consistency. I also included a request in a later email for information regarding webhook IP address whitelisting, which was promptly supplied. What could be improved --------------------------------------- So far, I haven't identified any significant areas for improvement. I did suggest a couple of "nice-to-have" improvements to support, which are being considered. Overall ----------- Functionally useful, a good range of practical features, and good support. I uploaded a copy of my problematic statements and to my surprise, it managed to extract data without mistakes so far The only issue is that the extracted figures (in excel) are in text format (not in number format), so I have to format them again to work on them as numbers in spreadsheets. The activation process what kind of challenging due to the EU / US server choice but this was quicly solved with the clear instructions given by the Digiparser team. The tool itself was suprising easy to use. Click on a template, upload your document and get the result. I uploaded several invoices, all 100% mapped correctly. It has worked for everything I've tried it on, and the features keep getting better. The founder, Pankaj, is very responsive and constantly improving the product. I really like the document classifier, which lets you route, process, or skip a document based on file name, email subject, and other criteria. I primarily use it for freight and vendor invoices, including multipage ones, and it has stayed accurate across every layout I've sent. When I saw DigiParser on AppSumo, I bought Tier 4 because I already knew this one was a keeper. As someone who works with financial and tax documents regularly, this tool has become a real productivity booster. Handwritten invoices are over 95% accurate; 5% was terrible handwriting though. I've started an account with a disposal email address from yopmail.com to test it and I've got really impressive on how good it is. After that I've purchase a Tier 3 plan as it will operate as an asset on my custom made CRM. Show moreShow less After several months of on and off again testing, I have been very please so far with the accuracy of the DigiParser system to pull off names/marks as needed on PDF scans. Will put this into operation to automate mailed letter processing. Pankaj has been very responsive to answer questions, add new features (within minutes sometimes), an suggest strategies for the best AI instructions. Digiparser does exactly the same work and for 2x less cost. Show moreShow less I have been looking for document parsers for a while now. I receive bank statements that are 100s of pages long and most of the apps fail to get transactions from them accurately. And you can't afford to have mistakes in transactions data as it is super critical for accounting purposes. I found Digiparser, tried with some bank statements and invoices and immediately fell in love with this tool. So accurate even with large statements and scanned invoices. The reviews system and confidence score feature made it even more powerful. Monthly subscription pricing was a concern since my usage was not very high, but just to keep my documents and emails in system, I had to stay subscribed to a monthly plan. I tried DigiParser for an hour and already impressed, this is exactly what I needed to automate my email processing. perfect for my use case, and there are so many features to explore yet. The email organization, folders and unique email address for each folder is a perfect fit for my use case. I would definitely recommend Digiparser to everyone using Docparser or Parseur and tired of paying huge every month. I receive email with data tables that are embedded as png files in an email. While it's nice to look at pretty data tables while using an email client, automation in extracting that had become a multi saas patchwork (sadly involved Straico as well). DigiParse solved the whole thing. There are lots of features to explore and I'm sure I'll be sending more parsing tasks. One feature that was missing in Snooze was ability to send data to different end points. The prompt given to Straico was approximately two pages long running in activepieces. After 15 minutes in DigiParser, for running tests to see if it was a keeper, all data was extracted perfectly from all the different statements. What I thought would be a test, and I'd have to come back later to create a functioning process, turned out to be ... a functioning process. I haven't explored half of the functions in DigiParser, yet it's 5 tacos from me. If Parseur's cost and setup make your eyes water - DigiParser is the solution. Show moreShow less I had used DigiParser a few months ago and really liked the product, but I stopped because the monthly subscription didn't make sense for my usage. So when I saw the lifetime deal, it was exactly what I had been waiting for. The product works really well out of the box and has a lot of useful features. There is a small learning curve when setting everything up, but once it is configured, it just works. I myself auto forward all my emails to DigiParser, where it filters them for invoices, processes, extracts the information, and automatically sends the data to Excel workbook. It saved me atleast an hour every single day. Show moreShow less I bought DigiParser because I wanted a faster way to process invoices without copying everything into Excel manually. The setup was easier than I expected. I created a parser using Invoice template, and tested it with a few invoices. It worked well, and I like that I can also upload many documents in bulk or send them to digiparser email directly. There are a lot of features I still need to explore, but even the basic workflow can save a lot of time. I think this will be especially useful for accountants, bookkeepers, agencies, and small businesses that deal with invoices, receipts, bank statements, or other repetitive documents. Support has been excellent so far.
