Feedback

Use the **Embed Widget** when your business already has a website or client portal and you want the DigiParser upload form to appear inside it.

Feedback

If you only need a link to share by email, use an [Upload Page](/docs/guides/document-processing/collecting-documents-from-clients) instead.

## [Before you start](#before-you-start)

Feedback

Adding the widget requires access to edit your website. If someone else manages the website, you can copy the embed code and send it to them.

## [Set up the widget](#set-up-the-widget)

Feedback

1. Open the parser that should receive the documents.
2.  Go to **Integrations**.
3. Find **Embed Widget** in the import section.
4. Turn on **Enable Embed Widget**.
5.  Copy the embed code.
6. Add the code to the page where the upload form should appear.
7. Open that page and submit a test document.
8. Confirm that it appears in the parser's **Document Inbox**.

## [Customize the experience](#customize-the-experience)

Feedback

Depending on the options available in your account, you can customize:

Feedback

*   The main color
*   The success message
* Whether uploaders can preview extracted data
* Which website domains are allowed to show the widget

Feedback

Use an allowed-domain restriction when the widget should work only on your own website.

## [Test before sharing](#test-before-sharing)

Feedback

Check the complete experience as if you were a client:

Feedback

1. Open the website page in a private browser window.
2. Upload a supported test document.
3. Wait for the success message.
4. Confirm that the document entered the correct parser.
5.  Check the extracted fields.
