Feedback

Send each processed document to an Excel workbook automatically. Document fields and table rows can go to different worksheets.

## [Before you start](#before-you-start)

Feedback

You need a **Microsoft 365 work or school account** and an Excel workbook stored in **OneDrive**. Existing workbooks must use the `.xlsx` format.

## [Add Microsoft Excel](#1-add-microsoft-excel)

1. Open your parser and go to **Settings -> Integrations**.
2. Under **Available Integrations**, click **Microsoft Excel**.
3. Expand **Export to Microsoft Excel** under **Added Integrations**.

## [Connect your Microsoft account](#2-connect-your-microsoft-account)

Click **Connect account**, sign in to Microsoft, and approve the connection. Return to DigiParser when authorization finishes.

## [Choose a workbook](#3-choose-a-workbook)

Choose one option:

* **Create new workbook** - DigiParser creates one worksheet for document fields and one for every table in your parser. Headers and initial mappings are added automatically.
* **Select an existing workbook** - Search the `.xlsx` workbooks in OneDrive and select one.

## [Map worksheet columns](#4-map-worksheet-columns)

If you selected an existing workbook, click **Add worksheet** and configure each destination:

1. Select the worksheet.
2. Choose **Document** for regular parser fields or select a parser table for line items.
3. If the worksheet contains more than one Excel table, select the table to use.
4. Match each Excel column to a DigiParser field. If the worksheet has headers but no Excel table, DigiParser prepares it as a table when you save.

You can add more than one worksheet destination. When mapping table rows, regular document fields can also be repeated on every row.

## [Save and check the result](#5-save-and-check-the-result)

Click **Save configuration**, then process a test document. Open the workbook and confirm that the new row appears in every mapped Excel table.

## [When data is sent](#when-data-is-sent)

Feedback

New documents use the saved configuration after processing. If a document requires review, the Excel export waits until all required approvals are complete.

## [If something is missing](#if-something-is-missing)

Feedback

* If a workbook does not appear, confirm that it is an `.xlsx` file in the connected account's OneDrive, then click **Refresh**.
* If a worksheet cannot be mapped, make sure it contains an Excel table with column headers.
* If a column stays empty, check its mapping in DigiParser.
* If the connection stops working, disconnect the Microsoft account and connect it again.
