# [Importing from OneDrive](#importing-from-onedrive)

Feedback

Connect OneDrive to a parser so new files added to a selected folder become DigiParser documents automatically.

## [Before you start](#before-you-start)

Feedback

You need a OneDrive account and a parser with the fields you want to extract.

Feedback

DigiParser starts watching from the moment you save the configuration. Files already in the selected folder are not imported.

## [Add OneDrive](#1-add-onedrive)

1. Open your parser and go to **Settings -> Integrations**.
2. Under **Import sources**, find **Import from OneDrive**.
3. Click **Add**.
4. Expand **Import from OneDrive** under **Added integrations**.

## [Connect your account](#2-connect-your-account)

1. Click **Connect OneDrive**.
2. Sign in to the Microsoft account that contains the folder.
3. Review the requested access and approve the connection.
4. Return to DigiParser and select the connected account if it is not already selected.

Click **Connect another account** if you need to use a different OneDrive. One selected account and folder are monitored by this parser at a time.

## [Select the import folder](#3-select-the-import-folder)

1. Open folders in the DigiParser folder browser until you reach the folder you want to monitor.
2. Click **Select this folder**.
3. Confirm that the selected path appears below the browser.

Turn on **Include subfolders** to also import new files added inside folders below the selected folder. Leave it off to monitor only files added directly to the selected folder.

## [Test and save](#4-test-and-save)

1. Click **Test folder access**.
2. Confirm that DigiParser says the folder is accessible.
3. Click **Save configuration**.
4. Confirm that **Monitoring active** appears beside **Import from OneDrive**.

## [Add a new file](#5-add-a-new-file)

Upload or save a new supported file in the selected OneDrive folder. The file normally appears in the parser's **Document Inbox** within a few minutes and starts processing automatically.

The source file remains in OneDrive. DigiParser imports each OneDrive file once, so renaming or editing an imported file does not create another DigiParser document.

## [Supported files and limits](#supported-files-and-limits)

Feedback

The integration imports supported downloadable files up to 100 MB. Empty files and unsupported formats are skipped. See [Supported Files and Processing Limits](/docs/guides/document-processing/supported-files-and-limits#connected-cloud-storage) for the complete list.

## [If files do not arrive](#if-files-do-not-arrive)

Feedback

* Confirm that **Monitoring active** is shown.
* Confirm that the file was added after you saved the configuration.
* Check whether **Include subfolders** matches where the file was added.
* Click **Test folder access** to confirm the connected account can still open the folder.
* If you see **Needs reconnection**, click **Reconnect** and approve access again.
* If monitoring failed, save the configuration again to reactivate it.

Feedback

Changing the connected account or selected folder starts monitoring from the new current state. Files already present in the new location are not imported.
