DigiParser uses AI to analyze documents, extract information, and structure results according to your parser settings. AI features can also help define the fields you want to extract.

Customer documents and the information needed for these tasks are processed to provide the DigiParser service. DigiParser works with third-party AI providers listed on our [Third Party Subprocessors](/docs/legal/third-party-subprocessors) page.

## [Customer data is not used for model training](#customer-data-is-not-used-for-model-training)

DigiParser and its subprocessors do not use customer documents or extracted data to train or improve AI/ML models. Customer data is processed only to deliver the service.

This applies to both the EU and US regions.

## [Where AI processing takes place](#where-ai-processing-takes-place)

AI processing follows your DigiParser region:

Feedback

*   **EU region:** customer data and AI processing remain within the European Union.
*   **US region:** customer data and AI processing remain within the United States.

## [Retention and access](#retention-and-access)

Using AI does not change the document retention settings you select. The no-training policy is separate from how long data is stored. See [Data Retention and Deletion](/docs/legal/data-retention-and-deletion) for the applicable retention and deletion information.
