## Forward documents to the parser that handles them.

Each parser inbox provides a destination for incoming attachments. Route supplier invoices to the invoice parser so they enter the correct workflow.

1. 1Copy the parser inbox address.
2. 2Forward emails with the documents attached.
3. 3Process the attachments in that parser.

## Choose the address for the job

Three destinations for forwarded documents

Address

Use it for

Parser address

One document type using the same extraction fields

Folder address

Documents that should enter a client or project folder

Classifier address

Mixed document types that need routing before extraction

The address determines intake. Keep supplier invoices and customer purchase orders in their respective workflows, or use a classifier to route a mixed inbox.

## Your first document takes three steps

1. 01

    ### Copy the receiving address

Open the parser's Document Inbox and copy its email address. Use the relevant folder or classifier address when the workflow needs it.

2. 02

    ### Forward with the file attached

In your email app, click Forward, paste the receiving address into To, and confirm that the original document is still attached.

3. 03

    ### Inspect the received document

Open DigiParser's Document Inbox. After processing finishes, check the extracted fields against the attachment.

The Email tab preserves received-message context alongside an emailed document when a snapshot is available.

## Keep the context next to the file

When an email snapshot is available, the document's Email tab shows the sender, recipients, subject, date, and body. Your reviewer can understand how an invoice or order arrived without searching the mailbox.

### Recurring supplier invoices

Create an automatic forwarding rule in your mail provider for selected suppliers or subjects. Send to the AP parser address and confirm that the provider allows the forwarding rule.

### Client-specific bookkeeping

Give the workflow a folder address so attachments arrive in the right client folder. Keep the extracted schema consistent while preserving document organization.

## Forwarding or a connected mailbox?

Forwarding gives people and mail rules a destination address. [Native Gmail](/integrations/gmail) and [Outlook](/integrations/microsoft-outlook) connections monitor a selected mailbox directly and apply their own sender and content settings.

For forwarded mail, configure parser-wide email processing rules for allowed senders, attachment types, and body or attachment processing. Email bodies and attachments consume credits separately.
