## A transaction file, with account details attached

This integration produces a bank-feed file. It does not create QuickBooks invoices or bills, and it does not post records through the QuickBooks Online connection.

What the QBO configuration needs

Input

Purpose

Transactions table

One row per bank or credit-card transaction

Date and description/payee columns

Identify each transaction

Debit and credit, or signed amount

Set transaction value and direction

Account ID, type and currency

Identify the destination account

Balance mapping or override

Provide the closing balance

Institution identifiers

Match the financial institution used by QuickBooks

## Use bank-provided institution identifiers

### Load a reference QBO file

Use the bank-provided reference QBO file control. DigiParser reads it in your browser and copies the institution identifiers; that reference file is not uploaded.

### Or confirm the identifiers manually

Use ORG, FID, INTU.BID, and BANKID from a bank-provided QBO file or the QuickBooks financial institution directory. Do not guess these values from a bank's display name.

## Configure, review, then download

1. 01

    ### Prepare the transaction table

Create one extracted row per bank or card transaction. Check dates, descriptions, amounts, account details, and balances.

2. 02

    ### Open QuickBooks Desktop Bank Feed (.qbo)

In Integrations, select Manage for the QBO export. Load the reference file or enter verified institution details.

3. 03

    ### Map the transaction columns

Select the table, transaction date, description or payee, and either separate debit/credit columns or a signed amount column.

4. 04

    ### Set account and balance details

Map the account number or provide an override. Select account type and currency, then configure the closing balance.

5. 05

    ### Save and use Inbox export

After saving, QBO appears in the Inbox export dialog. Choose documents or apply the intended filters, then download the export.

6. 06

    ### Check the QuickBooks import

Import the file into the intended QuickBooks Desktop account. Check account identity and transactions before accepting the result.

## Multiple accounts stay in separate files

1 file per account

An export containing multiple accounts is packaged as a ZIP with separate QBO files. Keep account identities correct in the extracted data before exporting the batch.

For native creation of expenses, bills, sales invoices, and journal entries, use [QuickBooks Online](/integrations/quickbooks-online). The two integrations serve different workflows.
