New Features

  • Standalone Upload Pages: Create custom upload pages that your clients can use to upload documents directly. Perfect for collecting invoices, receipts, or other documents without requiring clients to have a DigiParser account.
  • Purchase Orders Template: New ready-to-use template for processing purchase orders, making it faster to set up purchase order processing.
  • Friendly Field Names: Use regular names like "Full Name" or "Invoice Number" instead of technical names. Makes it much easier for non-technical users to understand what each field represents.
  • Automatic Table Extraction: Tables are now automatically detected and extracted from your documents without any special setup. This makes it easier to capture table data from invoices, bank statements, and other documents.
  • Required Fields: Mark fields as required to ensure important information is always captured from every document.
  • Lookup Tables: Use lookup tables in Post Processing to match and enrich your extracted data with reference information. For example, you can match vendor names to vendor IDs or add additional details based on extracted values.
  • Google Sheets Integration: Automatically send your extracted data to Google Sheets. Set it up once in your Integrations, and your documents will flow directly into your spreadsheets with improved error handling and reliability.
  • Embed Widget: Add a document upload form to your website or client portal. Your clients can upload documents directly without needing a DigiParser account. Perfect for collecting invoices, receipts, or other documents from clients. Includes redirect support after submission.
  • Folders Enhancement: Organize your documents with folders that support email addresses, color coding, and automatic assignment rules. You can now set up folders that automatically sort documents by client, project, or type based on your rules.
  • Manage Parsers Page: View and manage all your parsers from a single page, with quick access to key actions like editing settings, reviewing documents, and managing workflows.
  • Export Column Customization: Choose which columns to include when exporting data so your downloads contain only the information you need for your reports and spreadsheets.
  • XML Document Support: DigiParser can now process XML documents. Upload XML files and extract data from them, just like PDFs or images.
  • Email Export: Send your processed data via email directly from your workflows. Set up email export in your Integrations to automatically email extracted data to yourself or your team after documents are processed.
  • Bulk Actions from Document List: Select documents in the document list (left panel) and perform bulk actions—move to folder, delete, reprocess, or approve—without switching to the data table.
  • Download Documents and Folders: Download selected documents or an entire folder as a ZIP file. Select documents in the document list and click Download as ZIP, or use the folder's More (⋮) menu to Download folder and get all documents in that folder.

Improvements

  • Credit Bug Fix: Fixed a bug where reprocessing documents was incorrectly charging credits. Reprocessing now works as expected.
  • Credit Deduction Fix: Fixed issues with credit deduction to ensure accurate billing.
  • Required Fields Fix: Fixed issues with required field validation to ensure important information is always captured correctly.
  • Embed Widget Improvements: Enhanced the embed widget with better field ordering, improved page counter, and various bug fixes for a smoother experience.
  • Webhook Reliability: Added transaction retry support for webhooks to ensure your integrations receive notifications even if there are temporary network issues.
  • Post Processing Improvements: Enhanced post processing handling to ensure workflows and post processing complete correctly before marking documents as processed.
  • Review Stages Fix: Fixed issues with review and approval stages to ensure documents move through the review process correctly.
  • Folder Improvements: Improved folder functionality and added support for viewing documents without folders.
  • Document List Pagination: Improved document list pagination and defaults so large lists (including views with 100 documents per page) are faster to load and easier to navigate.
  • Export Improvements: Better export options with improved validation, handling of invalid file names, and a scrollable export dialog for easier use when exporting large amounts of data.
  • Single Export Fixes: Fixed issues with single document exports to ensure data exports correctly.
  • Workflow Improvements: Improved workflow processing to ensure documents are handled correctly throughout the processing pipeline.
  • Higher Upload Limits and Queuing: Increased the upload limit to handle up to 500 documents at once, with background queuing so large batches are processed more reliably.
  • Google Sheets Reliability: Improved Google Sheets exports, including better handling of sheet tabs and more reliable connections so your data lands in the right place.
  • Export Reliability Fixes: Additional fixes to make exports more reliable, especially when handling failed uploads or edge cases in large datasets.
